Introducer terms

1. About these terms

These terms are an agreement between Solari Group Limited (company number 17340557), trading as AirConFinance ("we", "us"), and the installation business that registers with us ("you"). They apply from the moment you submit a registration.

2. What AirConFinance does

• We introduce your business customers to a finance company so they can apply for finance for an air conditioning installation. We are an introducer. We are not a lender.
• Business finance is arranged with HH Business Finance and is available to UK limited companies for business purposes only.
• Personal finance for homeowners is not available.
• AirConFinance acts as an introducer only. We do not lend, arrange finance or give advice about finance, and we are not authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority.

3. Registering and approval

• The person registering must be authorised to do so by the business.
• The information you give us must be accurate and complete, and you must tell us if it changes.
• You must hold a current F-Gas company certificate and keep it current while you use the service.
• We review every registration. This can take up to 10 working days. We may approve or decline a registration at our discretion.

4. Your account and your link

• Once approved you get a sign-in and a customer link carrying your business name.
• Keep your sign-in details secure and do not share them outside your business.
• Your link is for your own customers. Do not pass it to another installer to use.
• We may change or switch off a link, for example if a business name changes or an account is suspended.

5. How you may offer finance

When you mention finance to a customer you must:

• Make clear that finance is arranged through AirConFinance, is provided by a finance company, and is subject to status and approval.
• Offer it only to UK limited companies for an installation at their business premises.
• Give the customer your link and let them complete the form themselves.
• Pass any questions about the finance itself to us.

6. What you must not do

• Describe yourself as a lender, broker or finance adviser.
• Advise a customer on whether finance is suitable for them.
• Promise or suggest that an application will be approved.
• Quote rates, repayments or terms unless we have given them to you in writing.
• Fill in or send the application form on a customer's behalf.
• Charge a customer for being introduced to finance.
• Charge a customer more, or add any extra fee, because they choose to pay using finance. You must quote the same price whether the customer pays outright or uses finance.
• Offer finance through your link to consumers, sole traders or partnerships.
• Use the AirConFinance name or logo in your own advertising without our written agreement.

7. Our fee and commission

• We charge you a fee of £99.00 for each finance application made through your link that the finance company approves. We are not registered for VAT, so no VAT is added.
• There is no fee for applications that the finance company declines.
• The fee is deducted from the amount paid out to you for the installation, before you receive it. You will not receive a separate bill.
• The fee is a cost of running your business. You must not pass it on only to customers who use finance (see section 6).
• We may also receive commission from HH Business Finance for introductions. HH Business Finance explains any commission to customers in its finance documents.

8. No guarantee of finance

The finance company makes every lending decision. We do not guarantee that any application will be approved, how long a decision will take, or that any number of your customers will be accepted.

9. The installation is your responsibility

The contract for the installation is between you and your customer. We are not a party to it and are not responsible for the work, the equipment, your pricing or any dispute about them.

10. Customer information

• When you are signed in you can see the business name of each customer who applied through your link, the date, and the stage their application has reached. You will not see the decision or any financial details.
• Treat this information as confidential and use it only to deal with that customer.
• How we use your information and your customers' information is explained in our privacy policy.

11. Suspending or ending your account

• You can close your account at any time by emailing info@airconfinance.co.uk.
• We may suspend or close your account if you break these terms, your F-Gas certification lapses, we receive complaints about how finance was offered, the finance company asks us to, or we stop offering the service.
• When an account is suspended or closed its customer link stops working. Applications already sent to the finance company are not affected.

12. Our responsibility to you

We will run the service with reasonable care. We are not responsible for losses that we could not reasonably have foreseen, or for lost profit or lost business. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will email you before a change takes effect, and the date at the top of this page will show the current version.

14. Law

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales will deal with any dispute.
